La Porte de Hainaut Ambrée

It’s hazy, orange-brown with a lot of sediment and a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, citrus and sourness. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, apple, acetone and slightly sour citrus.

German Ulfborg tasting 09. Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a small creamy white head. Yeast, dust, alcohol and fruit. A bit of bread and caramel. Dusty and slightly tart.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head and floating particles. Aroma of sweet malt, herbs and band-aid. Dry and slightly acidic herbal and fruity flavour

Pours muddy amber with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, raspberries, dusty herbs and a touch of hops. Highish carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is heavy malty, some clear notes of raspberries and a real dusty note. Long, lingering sweet aftertaste with some hops, juniper and sweet malts. Weird, but quite nice, actually.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thick dark cream colored head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, dusty hops and a weird note of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and herbs, as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Clear deep amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel and toasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavor with toasted malt, caramel, plums and yeasty notes. Ends sweet.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and dry malty aroma. Flavour is mild toffee sweet and with a mild roasted note. Ends with a light overripe fruity note. Mild bitterness too.

Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Large foamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Clear golden color. Aroma of bread, fruit, grain, nutty, toffee. Over the palate came smooth malty notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet malty flavor with a hint of bitterness.
