Commercial Description:

Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Large foamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Clear golden color. Aroma of bread, fruit, grain, nutty, toffee. Over the palate came smooth malty notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet malty flavor with a hint of bitterness. Malty toasted finish. 6 / 3 / 6 / 3 / 14

Amber color; thin creamy head. Grainy aroma, round mouthfeel, with some sweetness and some cereals flavor, Very obvious French beer.

Fine yellowish rim, over (cold) hazy amber beer. Almondy nose, bit of rainwater, hard fruitstones and lightly coloured malts. Again almonds, with the sweetness hinting at cheap alcohol or cheap brandy. There’s a distinct poin of salinity there, shellfish-like. A bit aggressive, near-astringent. Medium bodied at best. Unlikable, even poor beer.

Bottled. A mid brown coloured beer with a decent, but short-lived off white head. A boozy sweetish aroma with syrupy fruit notes. The taste is fruity and pretty vinuous. Hints of Christmas nuts. Tastes like it has some age yet doesn’t have. Almost musty. Intriguing, but not totally enamouring.

Dark red ruby color (more like amber), big creamy beige, lace. Red currant and plum pudding in the aroma. Fruity, berries and ashy hops in the flavor. Combination of flavours is not very likeable. Acidy finish.

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Golden, with a white head. Butterscotch, caramel, sugar and some spices in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and sugary, with some caramel. Medium body, quite sweet all the way. Nice beer. (060824)
