Fluffy white head; rather big bubbled dusty golden beer. Slighly oxydized, nutty nose, yoghurt, something lactic, milkripe grain. Sharp alcoholic taste & MF, strengthened by liquoriceflavour. Oxydizing reduced to minimum (BBD anyway still far removed), nuttyness is still there. Fizzy, aggressive MF. I’m not a fan of La Choulette brewery. This one is not likely to change my mind...

0.25 l bottle. Deep golden color with frothy head. Aromas of toffee, malt and vanilla with distant fruitiness and herbal hops. The same elements continue in the flavor along with nutty and bisquity malt.

Pale peach with a nice lacy cap of white. Musty jammy smell, fruit leather and attic. The smell of people who have just come in after running around outside on a cold day. Sweet, cloying berry flavor, coupled with an unwholesome funk. Sticky thick palate. Hard to finish. A beer that is unpleasant in all sorts of unique ways, and frankly, makes me shudder every time I swallow. That’s it. Life is too short for icky beer. Down the drain.

Golden orange colour and quite lively on pouring.Unusual mouthfeel, a bit fruity and slightly bitter. I usually like this style but have my doubts about this one.

330ml bottle bought at Utobeer, Borough Market. Very huge, frothy white head. Light brown body. Spicy and fruity aroma. High fruity rates in the flavour with herbal notes. Wheaty. Refreshing. Thin palate (16.09.2006).

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Golden-orange, a bit hazy, topped by a white head. Sweet and sugary aroma with some spicyness. Flavor is much the same, but with some hops as well. Medium body. A quite decent beer. (060824)
