MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Sep 21, 2008 Bottle, 6.0%. Slightly buttery aroma, a bit rough. Clear grey golden colour. The flavour has some light malts but also some roughness, from malt or hops I do not know. yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 18, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange. Rather short lasting head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel and hops. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a good toasty maltiness and caramel, soft bitter hoppiness, slight spice and bit of dark fruits. Looking forward to the other La Rouget de Lisle beers stored in my cellar. BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark May 31, 2007 Sampled on a great bike tour in France in 2004 in various circumstances in unforgetable landscapes. Aroma and flavor of this brew is over average and not bad for a french microbrew. ogivlado (2399), Zagreb, Croatia Aug 1, 2006 Bottled(330ml). -clear amber coloured with froathy white head. Nice roasted malt aroma, mild spicy, hoppy and slight caramel notes but for a 6.0%ABV quite weak brew
