Jul 27, 2008 from belgianshop.com Nice reddish color with a fairly big head. Nose is sugary, syrupy, malty and some caramel and spices. Flavor is bready and a tad on the sweet side. This Belgian had some hops to it. Pretty tasty in my book.

Pours dep red-brown with a beautiful, creamy off-white head. Great duration and light lacing. Aroma is sweet, rather powerful, good spiciness, some toffee, light chocolate and a herbal, hoppy touch. Fine, rather light mouthfeel. Flavour has a little yeasty cardboard, some good dry chocolate, and a good caramel finish with exciting and nice hoppiness. Quite nice.

Apr 4, 2008 De couleur brune aux reflets cuivrés et aux marges tirants sur le jaune. Donne une mousse moyenne au service, qui descend en un mince col durable. Légèrement voilée avec quelques perles de lie.
Le nez est très intéressant, un houblon bien présent et franc, mais pas trop sec : floral, un peu fruité.
Le goût est doux, pas trop sucré, et termine avec une légère amertume. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de nuances, mais ce qui est là est bien fait. Un peu de caramel.
La bouche est crémeuse, pétillante et rafraîchissante. Pour le palais, c’est réussi.
Bonne bière, très bien fait.
