Dark amber ale. Strawberry aroma. Malt flavour and a bitter final (with no strawberry); dry, rather then sweet. Very light chocolate aftertaste.

Nutty brown color, cloudy, big lively off-white head, lace. "Organic", earthy aroma with spelt and grain. Sour, earthy and spicey flavor. Peppery aftertaste. Quite typical Eastern Belgium farmhouse ale, not the best of them unfortunately.

(33cl bottle, BB May 2009) Pours a hazy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of artificial berries and cherry, yeast, and toasted grain. Flavor of carbonated water, artificial fruit flavoring, yeast, and grass.

Bottle@Home. Very fruity aroma of raspberries and strawberries, mixed with malts and some herbal hops. Gushing, cloudy, amber brown color, huge off-white head, fair lace. Sour fruit start, raspberry, strawberry, some malts. Sharper sour, almost vinegar in the finish. Dusty mouthfeel. Unbalanced. No too great.

(Bottled) Opaque red-amber with a small, tanned head. Dryish aroma of strawberry, raspberry stones, some acidity. Flavor is also dryish with berries, raspberry stones, some ashes. Almost medium body with soft carbonation. Pros: Dry, berryish. Cons: Ashy, not very pleasant. If you make a fruit beer this dry, why not make it a lambic?

La Saint-Hubert Cuvee du Borq, ABV 6%. Slightly cloudy amber color, short head. Aroma of caramel malt, hops. Taste is also a combination of some caramel malt and sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Decent beer.
