(Bottle 75 cl) Fully golden, clear beer with a rather small head. Very, very fruity nose - almost flowery too. Fresh in spite of a very warming alcohol. refined and wellmade Bière de Garde. 091102

High carb gold, with a large lasting white head. Citric light spice aroma, with some mild grainy notes. Mildly musty flavour, some citric notes but mostly just clean grain. Alcohol is perfectly disguised. Mouthfeel very soft. Nice, refreshing french ale.

bubbly golden like champagne with a smell that reeks of honeycomb and floarl esters. A touch of pepper instead of bitters creates a most welcome flavour. A definitely worthwhile brew. Probably the best french brew I have ever had!

Bottle. Golden with off-white foam. Aromas are sweet caramel with lots of yeast and fruit. Flavours are soft caramel and apricot with honey on toast. Lots of alcohol for a beer that is so easy to drink. Pretty impressive.

Bottle shared with tupalev, Blankboy & HogTownHarry at beerbistro. Bright golden colour with a slight haziness and a fluffy white head. Aroma is very warm and full, with fruit, yeast and hay notes. Flavour is really unique - I got hints of almond, lemon, sweet honey, fresh malt and pepper. The finish is a little harsh as the alcohol comes through, but I enjoyed it otherwise.
