And I appreciate that tremendously. Thanks much to duff! dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark

The aroma reminds me of cider, but on a strong, healthy beery background. Low head on a hazy orange body. The taste was enchanting to me: strong but sweet, a perfect thirst-quencher as well as an unforgettable tasting experience. This is, by far, one of my top favourites. A more bitter aftertaste, but I really felt on top after tasting this brillant brew! Too bad the bottle wasn’t bigger. Next time I’ll llook for a cask! Sammy (4049), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

French yeastiness and active, and peach and apple cider, lending some harshness to finish. Spice, pepper Medium mouthfeel, smooth. worth a try, though pricey and clearly not for everyone. Acidic alcohol aroma. Strong alcohol in flavour, but also a nice crispness and an interesting malt/fruit combination unique to my experiences thus far. A tad thin for my liking, but otherwise, a very interesting, enjoyable experience, even in a small dose. Thanks Doug and Radek.
Tried it again at Beer Bistro, 05/27/05, split with Greg Clow, Blankboy, and friend and gave it the same rating. Split a 750ml bottle 4 ways. Got a much more interesting aroma from it, but probably found it a little less wowing than before. New rating was 8/3/7/3/14, same overall Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2004 Pours deep honey gold and viscous. Small beaded slow carb white sudsy head. Grassy, pepper aroma. Some of the lemony hop and caramel aroma carries over to the palate. Clover honey and toasted bread. Some pepper and sour. Very much like a tripel. A solid beer. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 12, 2004 (on bottle)Not having that many bier de garde under my belt, I´m not sure where to go this one. I suspected some more depth and warm, but this sour/lindentreeflower-smelling brew has none of that. Nice, champagne-ish carbonation, witch, I´m afraid, is overturned by a very bitter and alcoholic taste. I should say one would judge this better if it where used at a meal.(fowl, veal, pies)
