A yellow ynclear beer with a fine but fast disappering head. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The flavor is also sweet and fruity with notes of yeast. A fine very easily drinkable beer - especialy for such a strong beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Fully golden, clear beer with a rather small head. Very, very fruity nose - almost flowery too. Fresh in spite of a very warming alcohol. refined and wellmade Bière de Garde. 091102

Bottled. Golden colour, clear. Malty, perfumy aroma. Rather sweet and clean with an emphasis on malt flavour. Less lively than expected from a bière de garde. Rather hoppy finish with some vanilla.

Copperish light amber. Aroma shows alcohol, peach, apple, light caramel. Palate starts with alcohol, adds some peachy, appley notes, and some higher alcohols. Body is slightly oily, corn syrupy, and slightly caramelly. Better than it looks on paper, though, this beer charmed me with its simple, rural style (and yeah, a 750 of 8.3% is bound to leave a good feeling in your head, too!)

Blond color. Smells! Too warm; some malt, sweetness, simple finish. Drinkable but not impressive.
[2002-05-14, 4-2-6-2-12] Gold ale. Some chemistry in the aroma. Heavy body, sweet, lightly malty, lightly corky. Ordinary palate, without aroma. Strong but simple.
