| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2003 Copperish light amber. Aroma shows alcohol, peach, apple, light caramel. Palate starts with alcohol, adds some peachy, appley notes, and some higher alcohols. Body is slightly oily, corn syrupy, and slightly caramelly. Better than it looks on paper, though, this beer charmed me with its simple, rural style (and yeah, a 750 of 8.3% is bound to leave a good feeling in your head, too!) fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Drinkable but not impressive. [2002-05-14, 4-2-6-2-12] Gold ale. Some chemistry in the aroma. Heavy body, sweet, lightly malty, lightly corky. Ordinary palate, without aroma. Strong but simple.
