There was almost no lacing left on the glass. I smelled malt, spices and some dried fruit on the nose. Very dry palate with tastes of malt, fruit and yeast. Very low carbonation and not. The mouthfeel wasn’t what I expected and was rather weak for a Belgian Ale. It seemed like something was missing as this was not very complex. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Rhythmically ticking (really) murky orange measure sniffing of wood, candy and bananas. Flavour-wise, peach-like fruitiness, slightly smoky malt and pleasantly wheaty afters. But a dank, watery antiseptic cardboard back taste that really doesn’t convince. Echoes of Vieux Lille. Very disappointing. Borup (1359), Albertslund, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 10, 2007 Bottle. Little cloudy, yellow color. Sweet aroma with flowers, yeast and wheat. Feels thick in mouth with right balance of carbonate. Didn’t like the taste that much. It has lots of different hard-to-define flavours. overripe fruits, vegetables (peas?) and yeast. This is my first belgian ale, and it wasn’t my kind of beer. OleR (2104), Oslo, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Bottle, 750 ml. (bb 06.2007) Clear orange/golden body under a low, vanishing white head. Typical fruity Belgo nose with scents of ripe banana and mild spices. Nice sweet/acidic flavors; sweet citrus, green apples with hints of honey, spice and alcohol. Distant hopbitterness. Smooth palate. Dry/acidic finish. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil

Color amber, gives will to fall soon of mouth at the beginning. The aroma is a chapter to the part, floral intense, felt me in Belgium of truth. Accented palate and balanced of banana and malt, a delight. If it has something that I can say against this beer I am the cream. In my cup, it was not nothing consistent and persistent........................................ Putzz loira maravilhosa!

Aroma e paladar frutados e levemente metálicos.
