Pours gold with a orange hue that is sorta cloudy. The head laced up on the sides.Aromas of sweet fruit, possibly apricots.Flavor is fruity sweet with a touch of fig.Not too shabby. The finish was good and had slight warming of the belly

Orange hazy color with a thin white head. Thewre is a good trappist-like bready yeast sweetness in the aroma, along with a light spice and banana combo. Palate is rather gentle after the intital bitterness. It really turn out into a smooth, bready sweet mouthfeel. Im rather suprised this only has a 3.3 rating. Weird.

Nice golden colour...taste is sweet, fruity and spicy. Pleasant palate, I’m really finding the "blondes" to be a great compliment to food as they are refreshing and not overly complex.

Nice and fruity, poured beautifully, nice head. Too carbonated and the alcohol really overpowered the flavour. Nice, and it is a trappist, but nothing to write home about

Outspoken fruity nose and a dark, rich golden honey tinge, La Trappe Blond is certainly an attractive beer whilst in the glass. Full-flavored, yet easy to drink, with a long-lasting yeasty-malty character, I must admit to really liking this brew and in fact the entire La Trappe range. This neat brew makes me happy if only for the fact that I no longer associate ’beer’ and ’Holland’ with that dreadful Heineken atrocity.

Hazy gold, off white head, tiny bubbles, lace. Fruity aroma, pear, apple, and some yeast. Malty in flavor followed up by fruity notes. Soft, smooth body. Very pleasant.

Rating La Trappe Enkel, vintage 1994. 33 cl bottle pours clear amber with a smalli head. All the yeast is compacted on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is overripe fruits. Taste is thin to medium bodied with some figs, apples and soggy cardboard. Thats not a bad thing, as I think this aged nicely.
