This beer must have sat on the shelves too long because it was was past its prime. Yeast was overpowering. TheRimmer (483), Florida, USA

Aromas of hops and fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, fruit, and bananas. Body seems just right. Better than I expected. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2004 A medium sized white colored head. The coloring of the body is a very light gold with lots of carbonation bubbles. The aroma is vanilla ice cream, peaches and banana bread. Teh flavor is sweet with bananas, cinnamon and bready witha slight clove finish. This is light and too sweet. Could also use more body. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Bottle from gift pack with glass. Hazy dark golden pour with little head. Aroma was nice fruity, malty, but not very strong. Very nice delicate flavor of banana and peach. Lightly hopped and well matched to the fine flavor. Slightly sharp finish. I liked this a lot, much more tasty than the low average rating it has recieved. Very pleasant blond ale. Very tasty and good looking in the Koningshoven gold-rimmed glass. Many of the ratings on the Ratebeer website just don’t make any sense, it gets a 3.71 on beeradvocate which is much more sensible. Even swill from Sam Adams gets a 3.3 on this system. This ale is quite delicious. No accounting for taste here... and while I’m complaining, this website has more downtime and server issues than any other website that I use.. (sorry for the rant...I’m through now) bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2004 Pours murky golden yellow with a big white head. Aroma is yeasty banana and some citrus maybe orange? Banana did not show up well in the flavor mostly a light malt taste with a slightly dry bitter finish. Just lacks a bit in flavor. Overall decent. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2004 Yellow color much cargo, veiled aspect.
Adherent foam. Good scent but without expected particular. Too much high lightly the alcoholic degree.
Altogether good.
