Bottle. Pours dark hazy red with a minimal head. Smells of fermented fruits, molasses, sweet. Tastes of thick and dark fruits, cherries, plums, boysenberrys. Some thick moasses flavor present, maybe some almond. Pretty smooth.

Sample @ BBF 08, Boston. Pours a hazy red with a small head. Aroma is dark fruit, malt, and candi sugar. Taste is the same, with noticeable plum and raisin going with the malt. Very smooth, and a nice offering on the whole. Glad I could try it.

Bottle 30cl. Pours a murky ruby colour with a small head and almost no carbonation. Smells fruity and sweet with also some hops and malts. Taste is very warm and can taste raisins and some fruits in there vaguely. Goes down very nice and warm with a good aftertaste and a warm feeling in the throat. Good Abbey dubbel.
