I should have brought more. Although it is Dutch, it still has all of the flavor and character of a trappist dubbel. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

Dark fruit and malt nose with an almost sourdough-like yeast note. Creamy and sweet mouth feel with very little flavor.. There is a bit of dark fruit as well as a nice yeast note but it comes across as watered down. Bummer. RCL (1496), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

Taste is rich, malty with dates, figs, and maple syrup. Alcohol taste is in the background. Hop flavor is absent.

Tastes fruity and very yeasty, maybe some bitter hop. Very mouth filling feeling, a sweet harsh feeling going down. Dry, fizzy, slightly sweet finish. An ok beer, but only average for a Trappist. gmonroe10 (172), Netherlands
