This rating is for the Dubbel, however the label differs slightly. As an official trapp brew, I was slightly dissappointed by the simplicity of the palate. Typically, I am accustomed to multiple levels of flavor. However, this brew had a strong hue and a delicous nose - overall not the best but I would buy again.

Dark red brown colour, thin quick fading head. Great balanced aroma with a little malt, hop and spice present. Warm, rounded taste with some caramel sweetness and malt. Clean aftertaste making it very drinkable.

Bottle. Wonderful deep red colour with big head. Nice kind of sweet taste, a bit fruity. Too little body though and taste dissapears a bit too quickly. Had better beer of this style.

Bottle pours a deep mahogany/brown with a full lasting creamy tan head. Aroma is brown sugar, apples, cinimon and dark pitted fruits. Flavor was similar, apple butter and dark malts. Very little bitterness, smooth rich feel, lively carbonation. great example of the style. Thanks Jordan.

Bottle: Amber ruby color with a large beige head and nice lacing. Nose is fruity, malty, yeast, wine, and a bit of raison. On par for the style. Tastes sweet with dark fruits, malt, and a crisp finish. A little caramel sweetness with the maltiness smooths it out. Thank you Jordan for sharing this.

Cinnamon, Cloves and Nutmeg Dance On your Tongue While Sweet Dry Malts Do the Lions Share of the Work. Nice Bready Quality to it. Overall Just a Really Drinkable Dubbel.
