| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Bottle (form Bitter Virtue)> Fruity and toffeeish on the nose with mild yeast. Slightly sweet with mild tartness. Very smooth with the sweetness more restrained than in some beers. On the whole unimpressive but quite drinkable. Burrobuns (81), Columbia, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 18, 2007 I did not really care for the flavor. For some reason all i could taste was sweat. No idea why. Other than that, it looked quite nice, but still I ended up disappointed. Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 6, 2007 300ml bottle. pours deep brown with a ruby tint; the head is puffy, of average size, and of average retention. honey, banana, and caramelized brown sugar (is there such a thing) dominate the aroma. the aroma is very refreshing and pleasant, without jamming the senses with complexity. while the taste is parallel to the palate, it adds depth with caramel, medium hops, and an almost velvet finish. high in drinkability, the alcohol is disguised through a complex character. this is a very pleasant ale. one indeed to savour.
