330ml bottle and 500ml bottle or crock. Filtered, then bottled with yeast and sugar.
First brewed in 1987.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.

dark cloudy amber, good light tan head, sweet malt aroma with a touch of floral hops, rich malty flavor, slight fruity character, lots of candy sweetness, touch of bitterness, hint of tartness, goes through stages as it warms

Very malty, thick mouthfeel, nice and sweet, tastes like a nutty fig or raisin, delicious!

bottle.my second la trappe beer. im starting to like these abbey dubbels. pours dark ruby red with beige head wich quickly turns into a small foam. aroma is very strong and impressive. taste is complex with sweet and bitter notes. still got some bottles left.

Smelt sweet. Colour of coke with a large of white head. Sweet and syrupy but not much flavour it was smooth and thick.

From the corked stone bottle. Nicely packaged beer that doesn’t disappoint. Pours a murky brown with a light tan head. Smells wonderfull....spice, hops, cedar. Tastes slightly sweet, really is nicely balanced with bitterness. Excellent.
