Beerlando (1352), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 25, 2008 Pours a dark purplish-crimson color with a medium sized, foamy, light tan head. The foam settles to a thin film, with a quick swirl yielding nothing but runny, sudsy legs that rejoin the body. The aroma is fruity and malty, with dried figs, plums, and dark berries showing atop notes of toasted caramel and light candied sugar. The flavor is quite a bit drier than I expected, with dehydrated fruits playing a huge role. Figs and plums again assert themselves, while caramel malts play more of a background role. A trace amount of fumy vanilla vodka is preset deep within this one. Medium bodied, this one is quite sharp on the roof of the mouth, finishing kind of sour. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Pours a murky brown with a light tan head. Smells wonderfull....spice, hops, cedar. Tastes slightly sweet, really is nicely balanced with bitterness.
