Sweet flavour, with light bitterness and long duration. Silky in the palate, high carbonation, medium body. Dark yellow colour, bubbly, with a creamy white head. Davros (247), Australia
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 8, 2009 Pours vibrant gold with a large creamy head.
Nose shows doughy yeast, cloves, some spicy noble hops and banana esters. Very light and refreshing.
These aromas a mirrored in the flavours, with cloves and banana up first before some slightly hot alcohol and plenty of light sweet malt show through.
Light body with carbonation that could be higher.
This is remarkably similar to a hefe. Really refreshing. hawthorne00 (130), Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Pours orange with a creamy white head. Bubbles cling to the side of the chalice. Aroma is of yeast, honeyed malts and herbal hops. Fizz is not excessive and the alcohol is completely hidden. Some saltiness there, reminiscent of a Manzanilla sherry. There’s fairly plain fruit sweetness and a spicy, just bitter finish. It’s not terribly complex, but it works fine. LordCorkscrew (982), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy

Aroma is candy sugar and spice. Subtle flavors of fruit, spice. High carbonation. Finish is mildly bitter with a lingering spicy effervescence. An understated blond. Not bad.
