Koenigs Hoeven Abt bottle pours a glowing dark caramel brown with a 2 finger beige head that has great retention and leaves lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast, citrus, weak dark fruits, green apples, and a little caramel. Flavor is huge on alcohol, sweet apple, straw, grassy hops, earth, dry leaves, dark caramel, butterscotch, fruity esters, vanilla bean, sweet grainy malt. Finish is caramel covered toasted grain and freuit with a hint of grass and low bitterness. Palate is sweet and thick at first, leading to a more thin and dry experience. Does not hide alcohol content that well for the style.

Konigshoeven Quad 750ml bottle at Novare Res. Pours a brownish red color with a little whiteish tan head that recedes quickly. Aroma is sweet malt and some hints of dark fruits and funk. Flavors are sweet maltiness, hints of vanilla and nectar. Very nice beer.

Pours a dark, translucent, deep copper, slightly reddish, like dark honey. Aroma is fruity, most like cherries, a little sweet with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is fruity and malty, like cherry, crisp with a strong alcohol nip and a sweet hint. Texture is tingly and edgy - a lively drink.

Bottle 30cl. Pours a dark murky coppor/ruby colour with a small size head and little carbonation. Smell is very sweet and fruity, lots of different fruits there. Taste is also very sweet, and has a nice little bit of alcohol in it too. Goes down very warm.

Pours cloudy red-brown amber with an average amount of off white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is heavy on the sweet malts with notes of caramel straw, banana, grapes, and butterscotch. The flavor is similar to the aroma, but less complex. The mouthfeel is average. This is a very nice beer but did not blow me away.
