Poured a deep garnet-brown color with a moderate beige head that slowly receded to a ring. Aroma of toasty caramel malt with some brown sugar and sweet plum, dark grapes, fig, and a light yeastiness. Moderately sweet brown sugar entry transitions into a toasty caramel malt followed by some hints of dark fruit (plum, grape, fig) that mingle well with a lightly dry, yeasty finish. Smooth, slick, and full on the palate. scottw86 (102), New York, USA Aug 29, 2008 Poured a deep reddish brown with a full off-white head. Aroma was very rich, some fruity notes, as well as some bannana. Taste was very smooth, hints of apples and grapes. Finish was a bit sour. Very enjoyable. ahnakel (10), , Georgia, USA Aug 29, 2008 This beer was amazing, I think I have a new favorite. This was recommended to me by a friend.
