liinis (695), Helsinki, Finland Oct 3, 2008 Very strong and quite complex flavor with fruits and spices. a little aggressive in mouth, too much carbonation, but when it settles the beer is very enjoyable. RigorMortis (24), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 30, 2008 Tap @ Bier Markt - Absolutely incredible. Deep color, rich slightly sweet taste with notes of fruit, particularly bananas. Smooth and easy to drink despite the strength. Would have given it a perfect rating except I had their Quadruppel immediately after and it was even better ;) daknole (2802), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine. Amber pour, a bit hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is very fruity...some bananas and some stone fruit. Flavor is quite good. Yeast, spice, banana and a slight bit of bitterness can be found. ucusty (1868), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 17, 2008 Cloudy amber pour with a decent white head that dosn’t last long. Aroma is of grains and a hint of hoppiness. Starts out a little sweet but is quickly followed up by a bitterness that evens things out nicely. (note: when this beer warms the bitterness becomes a lingering bittersweet ending jonsiii (157), Fredericia, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Bottle 33 cl. Aroma of alcohol and sweet malts. Taste of fruits. Carbonation is average. lievenvh (13), , Belgium Sep 7, 2008 herbs, citrus, golden, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, full body, average carbonation, long finish, hillfiiiiire (283), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 6, 2008 Cloudy gold body with a fluffy white head. Aroma of banana chips and that’s about it. Flavor is sweet and fruity. Bananas namely, but not in the same way as a hefe. A hint of yeast in the flavor too. The body falls a bit flat, and the beer for the most part is not very memorable. ketchepillar (475), Viña del Mar, Chile Sep 6, 2008 Banana and spice is very nice, except actually it’s kinda gross. It’s like candied banana pie, with some other yeast and fruit stuff. Kind of a mess.
