A bit cloudy and full of small yeast particles as I managed to pour the yeast into the glass. Medium-sized coarse offwhite head. Light soapy aroma with notes of caramel and yeast. Gentle neutral hops. High carbonation level. Malty flavours, but the body is rather thin. Noticeable alcohol content. Metallic aftertaste with water and light hop bitterness and a little caramel. Lacks a little character and is a little too thin to my taste. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Nose of summer fruits - apples and pears with caramel, sugar and yeast hints. Pours a golden yellow beer slightly opaque. Head is off-white and firm. Taste is malty with sweetness dominating the palate and a nice balance of hops. A vinuous aftertaste lingers. Great.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2007 Bottle @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Deep golden orange color. Little head. Sweet aroma with almost wine like characteristics. Sweetness in just right. Could use a little more of that tripel spiciness. Good creamy mouthfeel. Well done. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2007 orange amber color seems a litle dark for a tripel. head is almost non-existant, which is a big disappointment. Aroma is moderate with sugar, yeast, citrus, sweat and a strance acidity that riminds me of stomach acid. Not the most pleasing. Body is nice and full, with perfect light carbonation that melts around your tongue. taste is very sugary sweet with belgian style yeastiness, and alcohol finish. There’s also another off factor that I can’t pin down. Lacking overall. Easy to drink, but has several flaws, especially for the style. BigMilly8 (374), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2007 From bottle : A dark amber color, kinda hazey, with a good amount of carbonation. A big foamy white head. Smell is sweet and fruity, kinda weak. A nice sweet taste, that is very smooth. A nice medium body, feels good on the palate. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 15, 2007 Pours a slightly hazed amber brown with a tan head. Nose is the typical Belgian yeast with a touch of sweetness, but seems to be pretty weak. Flavor is smooth with a sweet start. On the end I got a bit of a metallic edge, which I can’t say I appreciated too much. Feel is standard. Typical stuff. It’s definitely drinkable. I consider this more of the type of brew that neither tries to stand out far ahead of the crowd or is too immature to be crap. Smooth and even. It’s a balanced brew. It won’t blow your socks off, but it is even enough to keep you satisfied.
