| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2007 750 ML Bottle-Deep copper color w/a minimal tan head. Sweet belgian aroma. Sweet flavor of yeast, raisins, figs, dates, vanilla, caramel & dark fruit. Had some citrus/spice/colander on the back end. Big, full mouthfeel w/good carbonation; very easy drinking brew. Alcohol was well hidden. Easily the best of the 4 Latrappe brews sampled during a July 4th vertical. csbosox (1079), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2007 K24J2 bottle code. 750ml bottle that has been in my cellar for at about 2 years. Served in a small chalice. Aroma is yeast, vanilla, lemon, honey, light caramel, with hints of apple. Copper colored with a small and fluffy head. Well carbonated. Huge mouthfeel at first. The initial taste is honey, fruit, yeast, floral followed by a rush of alcohol and black pepper that cleans up the beer. Overall a really nice beer. On a side note, I got a good dose of what I can only describe as their "house" taste, which is redolent of cobwebs, mold, and dust, but not in a bad way. almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Bottle. Brown color and an abundant enough head. The aroma is strong and agreeable, a yeast with a bit of citric fruits. In the palate, the flavor is to masses and fruits. It is refreshing, probably for his excessive carbonated. epassa (105), Sao Paulo, Brazil
