egajdzis (3598), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 18, 2005 BB 2/95... Poured a hazy brownish orange color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, honey, orange citrus, and light yeast. Taste of vanilla and caramel malt, yeast, citrus, and a touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel was nearly flat. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA Jun 12, 2005 04 Bottle. Kinda a medium to dark amber pour, which seemed a little dark for a standard tripel. Lots of Belgian yeast and herby corriander in the aroma. This followed by a spicy malty flavor, both spicy from the yeast as well as grassy earthy spice. Alcohol pepper was present, but not upfront. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Jun 11, 2005 Coppery and hazy in color with a small white head. Smells of hay, citrus, coriander, crabapples, and macintosh apples. Taste is bitter sweet with cherries, and citrus being most prevelant. Very smooth finish. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Jun 2, 2005 Great beer both in appearance and flavor. Pours nice and dark, drinks light and fruity with subtle yeast undertones. Don’t let the alcohol creep up on you, as it is very well hidden. Tigerdyr (1), Denmark does not count May 25, 2005 A very nice beer, with a taste of fruit (nuts), round i the taste, and a soft feeling in the mouth while drinking it. Sahlholdt (276), Copenhagen, Denmark May 25, 2005 Tap@Ølbaren. Blank copper with a fair beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of banana and hints of candy and alcohol. Soft sweet taste with a dry sweet aftertaste. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2005 Bottled.
Cloudy orange colour with an off-white head.
Sweet flavour dominated by citrus and spices.
Sweet flavour of fruits, citrus and spices with yeasty notes.
Not much bitterness.
Nice triple. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 10, 2005 Pours hazy dark straw with big fizzy white head. Aroma of Brett, fruit, Swiss cheese, hopcit, lively yeast esters, sweaty female body parts including feet and taint. Tastes hopcity, with a firm, dense, Bretty mouthfeel. The finish is citrusy and spicy, with more fruit and hops. Great complexity. I’d drink this any day of the week and twice on Sunday (and 15 times on Saturday).
