bigrond (1043), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 12, 2005 first trappist ale I’v ever had. It’s pretty good. very smooth and fruity. It has a nice color as well as alot of sediment that seems ’hang’ in the beer. Very nice brew. Crash (447), Macomb, Illinois, USA Mar 11, 2005 I normally like this style and judging from the other ratings, other people do also. There was just something wrong with this beer. It just wasn’t what I expected. PetetheMeat (546), Hove, Denmark Mar 8, 2005 Dark golden, off white head. Yeasty aroma with some malty sweetness. Citrus. Mild, malty flavour. A touch of yeast. Perfumy notes. Faintly metallic. Warming alcohol. Slightly syrupy palate. Overall nice, rather uncomlex tripple. Easy to drink. Hard to remember. BrockLanders (747), Panama City, Florida, USA Mar 7, 2005 Bottle. Pours a orange/brown color. Medium frothy white head, but dissipates quickly. The aromas is sweet, fruity, and spicy. Mouthfeel is syrupy in texture, with a taste of yeasts, fruits, and some maltiness. Full bodies with a dry spicy finish. I liked this better than the quad. Full mouthfeel. Rockinout (945), Kent, Ohio, USA Mar 5, 2005 330 ml bottle. Bright golden brown color with sediment floating about. Green fruits (apple, melon) in the taste. A little sweet. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 5, 2005 Pours a dark amber color. Not much head. Fairly nice nose on it. Tastes full bodied and very easy to drink. Not that much alcohol in there. Yeast dominates the palate, some off-fruit and cloves. Not bad.
