(30 cl bottle from a friend from Holand) Sweet fruity, strong alcohol, Belgian ale yeast scent. Shady brown color, fluffy white head. Sweet fruity alcohol taste. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

(33cl Bottle) Pours a medium white head that quickly dissipates. The body is a beautiful, cloudy, copper. Has a pleasant apple and banada nose. Thin apple flavours are evident with some slight spices and malt. Finished rather thin and dry. Average Abbey.

330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Righ orante, brief frothy head. Apple, pear and a touch of peach in the aroma. Lively carbonation, alcoholic vapours in the mouth. Simple sweet malty body, touch of alcohol, but not actual burn. Dry tingly hops. Uninspired. Possibly the worst Trappist beer I’ve ever encountered.

Bottle picked up the ’Dodgy Deli’ on the Cowley Rd, Wed 23rd August. This is right up there with the Quadrupel of theirs I had very recently. Pours a warm golden colour with a sweet, rich and fruity aroma, this is big on bananas from the very first sip, a wonderful rich creamy, malty taste envelopes your taste buds but it just keeps coming back to banana’s for me, not a problem at all as this is yet another stunner from Tilburg.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2003) Golden, a little hazy. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is fruity, sweet, some herbal, but also something almost artificial. Very mild.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a nice mostly lasting white creamy head. Rich fruity and malty aroma and taste with spicy notes. Good trippel.

Bottled, stored one year. Cloudy amber with a frothy head. Sweetish, herbal, vineous aroma, with notes of almond paste and banana. ABV shines through in nose. Sweet malty flavour, with segments of banana and licorice. Not as rounded in mouthfeel as expected.
