Dark golden amber with a foamy white head. Nice fruit blend of berries. Sour citrus intial taste that left to a floral finish.

bottle - Pours cloudy amber with a substantial head and a sweet, yeasty aroma. It’s lively on the palate and sweet in flavor with the yeast apparent and not much alcohol noticeable. It struck me as oddly thin for a tripel, which was the main negative point. This beer is a good one, but I’ve definitely had better tripels.

Lightly sugary, sweet, floral aroma, with some melon fruitiness. Medium orange in color with a nicely lasting, billowing, creamy head and intricate sheets of lacing. Flavor has some candi and light brown sugar sweetness, banana, lemon, berry, a slight amount of clove and spiciness, bready and caramel malt and ever-so-faint alcohol. Finish is malty, yeasty and lightly sticky. Medium to full bodied, palate is smooth and a bit thinner than I would have guessed. Pleasant.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large orange-white head. The aroma was sweet, tart, yeasty and had a strong candied fruit note. The flavor was tart, bitter and had a strong cane sugar presence with strong ripe apple and pear. The finish was long tart and tangy. The mouthfeel was thick. Wonderful.

A light orangish/brown pour with a large white head that fades quickly. A brown sugar aroma mixed with yeast and a touch of the 8% as well. A flavor of fruit. It reminds me not in a bad way of apple cider that had gone hard. A nice soft mouthfeel and full palate. A beer I enjoyed very much.

Hints of caramel in the aroma. Alcohol it present in the taste. Actually prefer the double to this.
