Bottle. Deep amber colored and fairly clear. Decent enough white head forms and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is corky with hints of grape. Active and pleasant carbonation. Light bodied. Flavors of grape, alcohol, cork and an underlaying sourness that never really becomes annoying and actually makes things interesting. Tasty.

Bottled: Malty, sweet and alcoholic aroma. Notes of raisins and Dark orange to reddish color. Stiff, frothy head. Taste is sweet with notes of rum-plums, raisins, oak barrel and a alcohol sharpness. Light bitter finish. Pleasant but unspectacular.

the first aroma is poorly excuted with hardly any discering flavors. although it looks good, there is no outstanding flavors that would makes universalling appealing. very fizzy and hides the alcohol well

Pours deep orange amber into a trappist glass. Head quickly recedes to spot surface. Apricot and yeast aromas. Sweet and full upfront with apricots and pit fruits. Turning to a dry caramel and hop finish. Quite nice...

Sampled form a 750ml bottle. Darker than the previous Trippels. A nice deep honey hue. Off white head. Big floral nose. Fruity undertones. Full bodied and smooth. Really nice. Easy drinking. Mellow palate with an equally mellow burn. Good palate. I really enjoied this one compared to the others.

Re-rate 10.08.’08 as Dominus tripel. Bottle, 75 cl. Amber color, with a white head. Aroma fruity, malts, yeast. Medium body. Taste = nice, very little spice, sweet, bit hopbitterness.

50 cl bottle, at my «Hopheads» tasting. Amber color, white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is the same. Watery and without carbonation. Too old? Dry finish.
