Very sweet body, alcohol and just a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. A dissapointing tripel, much too sweet. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2007 orange amber color seems a litle dark for a tripel. head is almost non-existant, which is a big disappointment. Aroma is moderate with sugar, yeast, citrus, sweat and a strance acidity that riminds me of stomach acid. Not the most pleasing. Body is nice and full, with perfect light carbonation that melts around your tongue. taste is very sugary sweet with belgian style yeastiness, and alcohol finish. There’s also another off factor that I can’t pin down. Lacking overall. Easy to drink, but has several flaws, especially for the style. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Pours a firey apricot color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Great head retention finally reducing to a full, thick canopy. Aroma of granite and dried bananas, peach, and citrus. Full nectar w/ ample residual effers. Mildly sweet w/ strong flavors. Malty w/ a persistant peach pit bittering from start to finish. Secondary favors of dried apricot, peach, banana cream, vanilla bean, and candy rocks. As she warms a little honeycomb comes through. The finish is bittered perfectly leaving some lingering malt complexities. Overall: a stronger flavored brew w/ perfect Tripel character and a mild sweetness. robinvboyer (1443), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

Looks kinda dark for a tripel, its a hazy orange with a big fluffy head. Aroma of citrus, and yeasts, with a touch of hops. Flavor is very smooth for a tripel. This is dangerously easy drinking for a beer of 8%. Sweet aftertase, a nice overall beer. Borresteijn (1439), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Aroma is sweet fruits, some alcohol, always makes me think of a stick of rock from the candy store (the quad reminds me even more of this). Taste is fruity sweet with a bittersweet alcohol finish. Nice round and creamy mouthfeel adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
