Jan 26, 2006 Dark amber with yeast swirls and small, tan head. Dark for a triple. Rich, malty and yeasty aroma with pungent fruits and a bit of roastiness, also. Same flavor with a touch of hops and alcohol in the finish. Full, balanced body. Dry, roasty, yeasty aftertaste. Solid brew, but nothing to get excited about.

Oct 10, 2007 330 ml bottle. Dark amber colour. A bit cloudy and full of small yeast particles as I managed to pour the yeast into the glass. Medium-sized coarse offwhite head. Light soapy aroma with notes of caramel and yeast. Gentle neutral hops. High carbonation level. Malty flavours, but the body is rather thin. Noticeable alcohol content. Metallic aftertaste with water and light hop bitterness and a little caramel. Lacks a little character and is a little too thin to my taste.

Jan 27, 2003 pours slightly hazy amber with an off white head. aroma of tart fruit, yeast and slight alcohol. candy-ish, caramel apple sweetness with some yeasty spiciness. not bad.

Jan 11, 2008 [Bottle from Risky-Finn.] A nice triple of the style, but it takes time for me to swallow this entire bottle of ceramic. Heavy notes of straw, alcohol, fruits and harshness (...in a good way).

Jan 9, 2008 Hazy golden colour, big white head. Aroma is very pleasant, of citrus, coriander and other spices. Flavour is full, with caramel malts, spices and some fruits. Smooth mouthfeeling. Very nice!

Jan 5, 2008 Fruity,pear ,mango banana, aroma,that great fruit basket aroma,Belgians are so known for, taste is multi fruit, and candy fruit sweetness,hints of a little hop bitterness in finish, flawless ,chirpy, sings of a beautiful fresh orchard, a classic Trappist. I must have gotten a super fresh bottle,it was so enjoyable
