More cherry comes out in the body and draws out into a nice dry finish. Plum and bittersweet chocolate as well. The alcohol warms nicely in the finish. pintbypint (1025), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2006 Some head on this dark tripel, but it doesn’t linger. Aromas are astringent and slightly floral. Taste is the same -- it is also kind of vegetal. Lasting finish of caramels and malts. Not the best of the trappsits I have tasted. The celery taste is a little offputting. Yeast plays a dominant role here. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
