It’s light, yet syrupy in the mouth. Sweet malt tastes, little else, execept for a dash of bitterness on the sticky finish. I prefer the dubbel and quadrupel.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 29, 2003 Hazy orange color with a dispersive head and very lively carbonation. Aroma is very clean with sweet hops, raspberry, slightly tart with lots of complexities, this is a great aroma. Flavor has detectable alcohol with unripe cherry notes. Yeast, clove, spice and coriander are also detectable. Finishes with a slight burn of alcohol with a profound bready feeling. This was a totally unexpected delight. Thanks Indra! anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2004 Bottled. An amber coloured tripel with a reasonable white head. The aroma and taste are very sweet with notes of banana, bubblegum and candy sweets. The yeasty alcohol also comes through. Drinkable but really too sweet to be great. leaparsons (4751), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

Flavours have the same doughy qualities with more sweet fruity malts. Great trappist mouthfeel. Good beer.
