| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2004 Hazy orange-brown with a little creamy white head and a bit of lacing. Fruity and malty aroma. Nice malty flavor with banana and sweet caramel. Similar to the dubbel but with a little heavier body, and a touch more bitterness at the finish. The flavors are a little deeper and stronger as well. Tasty and enjoyable. Not an Allagash, but I like it. paul9639 (116), New Hampshire, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 26, 2009 An exceptional beer. Just arrived in Panama, and clearly the best beer available here. Perfect for a warm weather (but hey no rain) Thanksgiving. Pours a honey color with a large, foamy cream colored head. Lightly carbonated. A nose of honey and light fruits. Well balanced and a bit sweet, full flavored hanging on the relatively strong alchohol backbone. A real treat. sneagrams3 (1762), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Off white head. Big floral nose. Fruity undertones. Full bodied and smooth. Really nice. Easy drinking. Mellow palate with an equally mellow burn. Good palate. I really enjoied this one compared to the others. epassa (105), Sao Paulo, Brazil

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 17, 2009 I do like this. The set of bottles I got hold of were coming up to the best before date, and so had the benefit of maturity on their side. The coriander in it had mellowed to the effect that it worked in nicely with the wild yeasts giving it a spicy, orange flavour that lasted from scent to dregs. I would go back for another of these beers a hundred times if I could. TonyDiUlio (197), New Jersey, USA
