Spicy yeasty and citrusy aroma: lemon, orange, coriander, and sourdough bread. Zesty and yeasty flavors. Generally sweet profile, with a mild dry finish. Fluffy. Not terribly complex, but pretty good. Alcohol becomes noticeable in the finish, almost fuselly. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Pineapple, over ripe banana, malt dominate the nose. Start is sweet, the top light, the finish is slightly sour, or better yet tart, acidic, moderate carbonation and a nice hop spicy bite to finish it off. VA Homebrewer (525), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA

Slightly acidic with a nice dry finish. Nice heavy malt presence to balance. Very intriguing cloudy orange color with a large, frothy head. Quite enjoyable, and I’m going back for more. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

A nice-looking, bubbly brew with an Octoberfest look to it, and with a malty, yeasty aroma with a hint of citrus. Flavor has more than a hint of orange and other fruits; nice but seemed too highly carbonated to me. Finish redeems, awesomely dry but with a nice lingering malty sweetness. Improves greatly as it warms. This used to be my favorite Trappist; sadly, it has diminished somewhat though I still think its quite nice -- but happily, I’ve discovered many better examples! thijs van vlijmen (257), Utrech, Netherlands

Some sediments and a moderate carbonation. Aroma of fruits like apples, plums and peaches. Well disguised alcohol with a very drinkable character. Flavor is pleasant with some banana and fruit salad sweetness, ending short and slightly bitter. An exquisite drink. robinvboyer (1436), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

Looks kinda dark for a tripel, its a hazy orange with a big fluffy head. Aroma of citrus, and yeasts, with a touch of hops. Flavor is very smooth for a tripel. This is dangerously easy drinking for a beer of 8%. Sweet aftertase, a nice overall beer. Dedollewaitor (3753), Odense, Denmark
