Great first taste, that certain tongue tingle. Malt, bread, citrus. Nice mouthfeel, complex, finishes well. Terrific! beerslayer (753), New Jersey, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 28, 2002 This one is way more like a dubbel than a tripel. Amber color with minimal whiteish head. Aroma is very dubbel-like as well with some fruity (apples and pears mostly) and a nice amount of spiciness. Sweet upfront with a little bitterness in the finish. A pretty decently balanced beer overall. Still not what I think of as a typical ’tripel’ though. WisconsinBeer (528), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Slightly hazy light orange color. Typical huge foamy Belgian head. Flavor is soft and somewhat fruity. Yeasty banana bread is also present. Medium bodied. Slightly dry finish. Have to say this is pretty solid and one of the better tripel style beers. guzzler67 (1286), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2006 Dark copper appearance with a medium size tan head. Sweet smelling, yeasty, fruity aroma. Taste was malty, spicy peppery and modestly sweet. Well carbonated, medium to full bodied mouthfeel leading to a long lasting, dry, fruity finish. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2003 Bottled. Pure, golden clear body, with a rich large fluffy white head. Very good looking beer this. Lovely beer, that perhaps has been under rated thus to date. I really enjoyed this beer. It just lacked the finish a classy palate that would put it up with Duvel and others. Wrath (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 18, 2004 Bottle. Orangy/amber with huge foamy white head that lasts forever. Aroma is sweet malt and fruit. Taste is very sugary and malty and unlike most trippls. It’s a bit sweeter than I was hoping, but good none-the-less.
