So I bought this Belgian together with La Trappe official glass. Poured and orangey tea look matched well toffee / sweet cherry aromas. Nothing spectacular just nice. Hmmm, I must say that it tasted more complex than aroma would suggest. Pear at start transforms into mid roasted malts with specific for Belgian ales finish. A bit earthy, garden like.

A solid effort from the Trappists of Tilburg. Not as stunning as their Quadrupel, but a fine, spicy tripel that is balanced with a very mild sweetness. Very good with spicy food.

33 cl bottle. Hazy golden color, medium head tha fades rather quickly. Sweet fruity aromas and so is the taste. A class lower than the Abt/Quadrupel of La Trappe but a very nice beer nevertheless.

Bottle @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Deep golden orange color. Little head. Sweet aroma with almost wine like characteristics. Sweetness in just right. Could use a little more of that tripel spiciness. Good creamy mouthfeel. Well done.

Bottle. 33cl. This is a classic tripel, alle the way, but not the same class as Tripel Karmeliet, but never the less a good one.

Bottle at beerpassie as Dominus Blond. Had it also already from draft. A good and refreshing tripple. Full bodied and a nice trapist

Clear amber with lots of bubbles and a small creamy white head. Light yeasty aroma. Sweet malt, smooth carbonation, fruity and alcohol also. Dark color separates this from the Belgian Tripels.
