Bottle. Beautiful amber colored body with a massive head. Aromas are grainy and fruity. Candi sugar is the first impression, but it gives way to a malty fruit presence that is well balanced and very enjoyable. Not as complex as some of the other tripels I’ve tried, but comes off very well.

Lots of banana and clove in the nose, some cherry and ABV as well. More cherry comes out in the body and draws out into a nice dry finish. Plum and bittersweet chocolate as well. The alcohol warms nicely in the finish.

Bottle. Dense, stable, lacing beige head over a hazy orange pour. Spicy aroma of coriander, sugar, oranges, and malt. Smooth and slightly oily, strong taste of orange peels and pleasantly warming alcohol. Spicy but not as spicy as expected. Hops are well-rounded. Not my favorite triple, alcohol’s a bit too prominent, but a good dessert beer.

Bottle. Dark golden with a large white head. Very sweet, spicy fruit aroma. Taste is bitter-sweet, peachy fruit. Coriander listed in ingredients: not sure. A persistent bitter aftertaste.

750 mL bottle. Hazy copper with a small but short-lived white head. The aroma is very appealing: tart fruit, toffee, spice, alcohol and citrus. Flavour is more sweet than tart, with fruit and spice hiding most of the alcohol. Medium full with surprisingly little finish. Still a damn fine adult beverage.

33cl bottle poured into a La Trappe Trappist glass. Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is candy sugar, fruit, spice, slight alcohol. Flavor is the same. The alcohol is a bit warming. Good beer for a cold day.
