Jul 17, 2007 Updated: Jul 18, 2007Bottle. Beautiful amber colored body with a massive head. Aromas are grainy and fruity. Candi sugar is the first impression, but it gives way to a malty fruit presence that is well balanced and very enjoyable. Not as complex as some of the other tripels I’ve tried, but comes off very well.

Jun 19, 2005 Lots of banana and clove in the nose, some cherry and ABV as well. More cherry comes out in the body and draws out into a nice dry finish. Plum and bittersweet chocolate as well. The alcohol warms nicely in the finish.

Nov 6, 2007 A solid effort from the Trappists of Tilburg. Not as stunning as their Quadrupel, but a fine, spicy tripel that is balanced with a very mild sweetness. Very good with spicy food.

Jul 24, 2006 Updated: Jan 26, 200933 cl bottle. Hazy golden color, medium head tha fades rather quickly. Sweet fruity aromas and so is the taste. A class lower than the Abt/Quadrupel of La Trappe but a very nice beer nevertheless.

Mar 20, 2006 Nice amber colored pour with a nice tan head. Malty yaeasty aroma slightly spicy as well. Sweet malty, spicy and a little fruity taste. I liked this.

Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. Nice big head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma is fruit, yeast and malt. Taste is nice and complex with fruit and spices.

Dec 13, 2008 Clear amber with lots of bubbles and a small creamy white head. Light yeasty aroma. Sweet malt, smooth carbonation, fruity and alcohol also. Dark color separates this from the Belgian Tripels.
