Pours a clear, glowing orange-amber with a foamy, cream colored head. The froth settles to a thin layer rather quickly, with wet, sudsy lace slowly rejoining the body. Aromas include candy sugar, cereal grains, coriander, and orange peel. Some doughy yeast and peppery hops complete the nose. Flavors are bittersweet, with the saccharine candy sugar being countered by bitter orange peel and pungent, dry coriander. There’s an overall floral feel to this one. The palate is medium bodied, lightly syrupy, and somewhat cloying. Decent brew. Not really my cup of tea.

Oct 6, 2008 Poured a hazy amber with thick head. Strong fruity taste, a bit too strong for my liking. Pretty yiesty with no bitterness. Sweet sweet beer.

Oct 3, 2008 Very strong and quite complex flavor with fruits and spices. a little aggressive in mouth, too much carbonation, but when it settles the beer is very enjoyable.

Sep 30, 2008 Tap @ Bier Markt - Absolutely incredible. Deep color, rich slightly sweet taste with notes of fruit, particularly bananas. Smooth and easy to drink despite the strength. Would have given it a perfect rating except I had their Quadruppel immediately after and it was even better ;)

Sep 21, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine. Amber pour, a bit hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is very fruity...some bananas and some stone fruit. Flavor is quite good. Yeast, spice, banana and a slight bit of bitterness can be found.

Sep 17, 2008 Cloudy amber pour with a decent white head that dosn’t last long. Aroma is of grains and a hint of hoppiness. Starts out a little sweet but is quickly followed up by a bitterness that evens things out nicely. (note: when this beer warms the bitterness becomes a lingering bittersweet ending
