| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2004 Man, I got ripped off at the convenient store, $9.50 for a 6er and then I see it at the Super Market for $7.50! Nevertheless.. I thought this was a pretty respectable Pils! Pours a nice copper body and a plump snowy head. A sweet malty honey beginning to the flavor and then a nice hoppy crisp finish, note of lemon zest. Brewed Right here in Tampa, a recipe of Florida Brewing that dates back to 1888… and it still works! Hoss (602), Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 28, 2004 Pleasent and drinkable, essentially boring but not at all offensive. I guess it's good for a pilsner, at least it wasn't skunky. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 23, 2004 Malty aroma. Hazy darkish lager, green bottle, cigar box label. Astringent, malty and watery-tasting. Does have some Carribean lager qualities -- light malty lager sweetness, crossed with some Yuengling yeasting. Not much hopping. Fairly sturdy mouth. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 13, 2004 Cloudy, specimen looking pour, sparse white head, skunky, Saaz-induced aroma. Flavor is not that bad though. Has some biscuity, yeasty notes in it. Brightens and sweetens up with just a tad bit of honey. Flavor stays pretty strong to the end - turns just a tad metallic near the end. Decent thick mouthfeel. Above average "island" pilsener - supposedly this used to be brewed in Cuba. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2004 Suprisingly smooth for a pilsener. Hoppy aroma with hints of pear. Lightly hazy yellow appearance. Light acidic start and then bitter finish. Light and oily on the palate. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 9, 2004 clean and slightly grassy aroma. straw pour with golden, clear, and unactive body. white head that seems tight, but falls without grace. simple, slightly cremey, and also sweet. not bad, despite an odd flavour reminiscent of can. crisp and dry, which isn't bad. not too bad a brew.
