RomanW70 (284), Providence, Rhode Island, USA Jul 15, 2008 Had at Delerium cafe in Bruseels on June 23, my l;ast beer in belgium on my trip. Pours gold with a medium frothy white head. Aroma was typical of a belgian blonde with notes of citrus spice. Some spicy hoppiness in the finish. A little sweet.
BoBoChamp (646), Gent, Belgium Jul 20, 2008 33cl, from Geers Oostakker, complex brew, hazy, rocky head, good brew, but not a topper thebeertourist (1796), Oslo, Norway Jan 11, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, yellow-pale golden colour underneath a big white head. Quite a bit of particles floating around in the beer. Spicy and alcoholic, rummy aroma. Wood notes. Flavours are quite sweet and the alcohol noticeable. Hints of hops and spices do not help reduce this impression. Not my favourite Belgian blond exactly. anders37 (2573), Malmö, Sweden Dec 31, 2007 Bottle @ Quinns. Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Has a spicy yeasty malty aroma with some hoppy citrus hints. Sweet malty yeasty spicy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a sweet malty spicy finish.
