12oz brown bottle from Florian’s. Translucent yellow body with a half an inch to an inch of white head that dissipates quickly. Smells sweet and slightly fruity. Tastes sweet, malty, with a hint of DMS, and no hops to speak of. Very clean finish. Light-bodied, drinkable. Very inoffensive. Nothing really special, about on par with Molson Export (which I imagine this was put out to compete with). But nothing I wouldn’t have again if the alternative selection and price were right.

Bouteille. Couleur or clair, très mince mousse qui reste. Arôme de céréales assez faible. Goût légèrement malté, légèrement houblonné. Arrière-goût faible, mais présent. Effervescence moyenne. Corps faible à moyen. Faiblesse des saveurs équilibrée... Somme toute correcte, ça se boit bien.

This was purchased because it was cheap. It is an okay beer, but I prefer Labatt Blue over this any day.

Again this one is only marginally better than other macro swill, but I would only drink it when there are really no other good options.

not bad for labatts. crisp clean taste, especially when really cold. i wouldnt drink it at home, but a good option when youre at a bar.

Better than your typical macro but still plain. Not much in terms of appearance or aroma, but a crisp clean taste it nice. Overall, I like it but I think ’d only drink it at a watering hole with friends.

Can, 950 ml, Old Stock V at Steve’s, savoured on January 19 2007; eye: straw, clear, white head, no effervescence; nose: hops, malt, corn; mouth: caramelized malt, a bit of hops, caramel, grain, finale in malt with light bitterness and a slight presence of caramel, average carbonation, grainy texture, mildly sweet, lightly bitter; overall: not that bad FRANÇAIS Canette, 950 ml, 5 %, Vieux Stock V chez Steve, savourée le 19 janvier 2007; oeil : paille, claire, petite mousse blanche, pas d’effervescence; nez : houblon, malt, maïs; bouche : malt caramélisé, un peu de houblon, caramel, grain, finale en malt avec une petite amertume tranchante et une petite touche de caramel, carbonatation moyenne, texture granuleuse, moyennement sucrée, légèrement amère; en résumé : pas pire

Drank many of these in my younger days as a work friend lived across the street from a distributor, who always had this stuff on sale cheap. Has a bit more aroma and character than blue.
