Nose is a grassy sort of hop thing w/ a bit of cereals in the background. Some sweetness up front w/ an actual detectable level of bitterness. Maybe slightly grapey or fruity but really that seems to be more of a malt thing than a yeast thing. The carbonation on this is pleasant on this and there is a good firm malty body to it. I gotta admit I like this stuff. It’s light for sure but definitely more flavorful than most of the macro quaffers. Beerman6686 (1287), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 29, 2005 Bought a six pack just to try it. Definately a blond ale, but lacks the flavors of what I am used to. White head. Gold color. Smells of corn and the faintest hints of a possilble hop. Taste of corn, and very faintly of hops. Not a bad beer for a hot day on a beach doing a BBQ. But, could be a whole lot better. HogTownHarry (4006), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Bottle (341ml). At The Glue Pot Pub, Ottawa. So I’m surrounded by Quebecers bitching - in English! - about how much Ontario sucks, as they are finishing their JOBS in Ontario for the day, drinking crap beer in an Ontario bar, and ... ah, what’s the use. Poured oily clear bubbly gold, an average mostly white lasting foamy-creamy head. Aroma was mild, sweet corn and other grains, not much in the way of hops but also no chemical adjuncts in the nose. Taste - almost none! Grassy, vaguely sweet, no hops at all, hardly any grain, flavour vanished in a millisecond - I could have been drinking water, which is exactly what the palate on this non-starter is. Overall very disappointing - I was expecting something grainy and chest-hair growing, what I got was .... nothing. Even a bad aftertaste would be an improvement. Tristan (14), Ontario, Canada

Bright gold with a lacy, white cover. Aroma is surprisingly reminiscent of real Czech pilsner, but the flavour is quite bland, but not offensive. Really, one of my favourites of the pissy yellow lagers. micker (31), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 17, 2005 for some reason everyone in Peterborough drinks this beer. Must be because it’s ghetto taste matches the ghetteo city. Iit smells like pee, and tastes much the same. The onlything I can say about it is that it has about the right amount of carbination, and is good for peanut races.
