Decent beer. Better than mass market lagers, but no match for microbrews. Relatively cheap.

2005 bottle provided by and shared with clarkvv 4/29/2005: Pale golden yellow with a fizzy white head that quickly fades. Aroma is sweet corn, vanilla, medicine, band-aid. Flavor: holy crap, I’m getting a tiny bit of grassy hops here!, grans, sweet malt, light alcohol, and cardboard. Light bodied and highly carbonated.

Golden yellow with white foamy head. Very crisp, refreshing. Pours with much head which dissipates rather quickly. bubbly and quite carbonated.

This semmed to be popular with the Ontario- French when I was young. Tried it again recently Much better with a mature and seasoned palate. Still a good ale.

Decided to give this one a shot because of a $1.00 price tag for a single. I guess I got my money’s worth. Pours a clear golden color with mild bubbles. Medium thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is vaguely sweet with nothing really distinguishing itself. Light-bodied with a pretty bland flavor of mild hops and sweet corn. Luckily nothing offensive in there. The finish is crisp, dry and pretty much flavorless aside from the faintest hops bitterness. All said, it’s a Labatt by any other name.

I was pretty pumped when I found this stuff because Labatt Blue is one of my favorite beers. This beer is a darker tint of yellow than Labatt Blue with somewhat of a cloudy look and a quickly diminishing white head. It has a crisp nose and a clean taste with a somewhat citrus hint to it. This was pretty damn good I liked it better than Labatt Ice.

Oh well. I haven’t been on this site for a while, and its really pathtic that all I got to rate is that thing lol. I had this one after a molson. Blarhgg, you know, something that doesn’t taste anthing can’t be disgusting. Well this apply here. Typical macro. Compares to other labatt product.

Not sure why I purchased this beer, on sale and hadn’t tried it. Very bitter, could get used to it, but why bother? Called Canadian Ale on bottle.
