| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 6, 2003 I bought this beer camping near a small town with a smaller beer selection. This was the beer I used to drink when I still had to find older friends to buy it. So I say to myself "Man, I haven't had '50' in years" Well, after I cracked that first one I remember why I stopped drinking it. It left an aftertaste that I couldn't get rid of. Awful stuff. gord (36), harbour grace, Newfoundland, Canada

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 29, 2003 Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, husky, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, metallic. Poor balance, dirty/grainy aftertaste, metallic, ugh. pondoshuffles (141), Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario, Canada
