Commercial Description:
Labatt Bleue Dry, the second addition to the Bleue family, is brewed with the same care and attention to detail as Labatt Bleue. Labatt Bleue Dry is mashed longer than regular beers to leave less carbohydrate (sugar) in the finished beer, giving a clean, crisp finish. Using select aromatic hops and a blend of the finest quality North American barley malts, this lager is clean-flavoured with no aftertaste.

2005 bottle provided by and shared with clarkvv 4/28/2005: Pale golden yellow, small fizzy white head that quickly dies. Aroma: we both agreed this was the best aroma of the swill tasting - there’s actual grains & malt noticable here. Light bodied. Taste is grains, light malts, corn syrup, light corn syrup, no hint of any alcohol.

2005 bottle shared with bucknaked, 4/28/2005. Aroma is actually decent, not as vanilla-corn ridden as the previous 6 or so swillers. Bit of actual dry grains. Flavor of grass, water, redeemable barley malt, some corn syrup. Wow, I actually finished this. Medium-light body, pale yellow-gold, little bit of white head.

Shit. Just like blue, but now it dry. Tastes of boose. Strong. Now it’s available in 40 oz bottles, in 5 diffrent alcohol levels, from 5 to 10%. Btw. the 10% one contains the same amount of boose as 8 shots of vodka. Ech

8.1% ABV can... The finish is a bit crisper and drier than regular Labatt Blue. I do taste just a bit more alcohol, but it’s negligible. People in Michigan really dig this stuff (I’m visiting). I have no idea why.

A nice light blue can but I didn’t like this beer. Very plain and dry and very little difference between this and the regular blue.

Creamed corn aroma. Clear golden body with decent carbonation and nice white head that diminishes slowly. Very sweet with a slight bitterness toward the end and a lasting alcohol flavour that’s not quite masked by the corn. Fairly watery and easy to drink. This is one to get pissed on but not much for drinking enjoyment. Bottle.

Bottle - Pale yelow in color with very little head. Drier than most other "dries" I have had. Kinda skunky, but not overpowering. The extra alcohol is the only redeaming attribute. Better than the other Labatt beers I have tried.
