My grandfather has had this swill in the fridge since I was born and I’ve always avoided it - until my pledge to try every beer in the world once. Poured into a glass regardless of the "hoity toity" references of my family to find ... apple juice. Aroma of .. nothing. Tastes like a delicate mix of creamed corn and tap water. Oddly I prefer it to Blue proper as this one was too weak to offend me like the Blue did. But I’m never, ever, ever having it again. KAggie97 (2481), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Smells like disease-ridden corn and tastes much the same. Water on the mouth. Only gets points ’cause it’s from Canada and everyone knows the Candians will rule the world someday. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 31, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a crystal clear light yellow beverage with a small fizzy white head that almost entirely disappeared and left almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma was lightly malty with notes of bread and a hint of skunk. The body was light with lively carbonation and a watery texture. It had almost no taste but what there was started off lightly bitter and stayed that way through the abruptly short finish. I will say that the finish was crisp and dry. SHIG (2048), Aviano, Italy

Aroma is barely noticeable. Appearance is fair...bright with yellowish overtones. Flavour just covered with adjunct. It wasn’t very appetizing. Thin and sharp palate. It is what it is, but I don’t buy it. lowg (123), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Second of the Labatt triumvirate I had at a picnic over the weekend. This one was like Blue but a bit more watery. Again, not bad if served cold on a hot day, but nothing to get excited over. Had typical grass-like macro aroma and was thin and watery. Also, like Blue, it becomes sickly drainpour if it warms up. Darn picnic, the Labatt’s kept on coming and I got sick. Now I know better. At least they were free and I can get these reviews out of the way!! roder60 (1033), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
