Sweet corn-like start, grainy middle, then finishes watery. High carbonation, no body. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA

Much lighter and more watery than Labatt Blue. Same problem of a horrible headache in the morning after only two of them. puzzl (2660), New York, New York, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 24, 2005 Very corny, light, nasty flavor. Aroma was non-existant, other than perhaps faint traces of pubic hair. Don’t even bother picking this one up: just knock it over so it spills all over someone’s shoes; that’s much more exciting. Aroma vegetal icing sugar, very weak. Scorched straw and icing sugar taste, burnt sweet ’n low, brackish thin watery mouthfeel, harsh, weak, sickly sweet and a thorough-going waste of time. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 24, 2005 It is a good light beer. Not much different from it’s original Blue. But it is more watered down. It does have a nice color, and head. It goes down smooth, but mainly because it is watery. It is sweet but quite faint. But the aftertaste is bitter. The flavor is smooth, not crisp as indicated in the description. it is very sweet, and is not at all painful to drink. This beer is possibly the exact opposite of an ipa. This beer is ideal in the summer, served at about 28 degrees. Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
