Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear LIGHT yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (bread), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. not as good as blue

Very sad indeed that this is the flagship of canadian light beers. its peasant weak forgettable taste makes you wish you were sucking on an old skunk.

Not a bad light beer. Very light yellow in color with a thin white head. Sweet grain and corn make up the light aroma. Weak palate leads to an okay tasting beer. Sweet and light. Quite smooth with just a touch of bitterness at the end. Nothing special.

Just sort of an average beer. It is sort of thin and watery, but has a clean finish. smells like beer, though not strongly. Just sort of average.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Almost no aroma, very light malt. Watery body with almost no flavor. It’s drinkable, but so is water.

Labatt Blue is a Buffalo favorite. If you were to walk into any bar in Buffalo your sure to find Labatt Blue or Blue Light on tap or in bottles. Labatt Blue Light pours a pale yellow color with a big foamy white head. It has good carbonation and clarity. The aroma and flavor is similar to regular Labatt Blue but lighter. The aroma has rice cereal malts and grassy straw like hops in the nose. The flavor has light sweet cereal malts up front that turn dry with a crisp citrusy bitter finish. “Blue Light” is light bodied, thin and a highly drinkable Canadian pilsner. It’s a great beer for watching hockey [GO SABRES] and calories. It also pairs well with a traditional Buffalo style fish fry.

Easy drinking light beer. Taste like a lighter Blue. Not great, but probably top dog in the light market.

A great light beer. Better than what the American breweries put out. Taste a little lighter than regular Blue, but not by much.
